My name is Ick Hyun Cho, and Iwas appointed Conductor in residence in 2012.

It is such a great honor and privilege to direct the Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra Chorus, which is one of the greatest choruses of Korea. I feel a strong sense of responsibility as I am directing the chorus of a city of culture, which is can be a demanding job!

While I am Conductor I will do my utmost to present beautiful choral music, in order to serve the public and improve the quality of life for Bucheon residents through the pureness of music. In addition, I will strive to make every concert a special and unique occasion, rather than a habit or a routine.

With every member of the Chorus, I will endeavor to bring you touching concerts, at which all Bucheon residents can laugh and cry together. It would be a great pleasure for me and all the members of the Chorus to make Bucheon a better place by promoting the spirit of choral music, the heart of caring and respecting others.

With every member of the Chorus, I will work to make a chorus befitting Bucheon, the city of culture. I ask your interest and support.
